What made you interested in playing basketball? My Dad

Do you remember your first organized basketball game? Yes

How did you play and how did it make you feel? I played pretty good, it came natural. I remember putting on my uniform for the first time and thinking “This is great”

When did you begin to take basketball seriously and why? I took it seriously at about age 10 because I saw that I was much better than my peers

Does your family support you playing basketball? Yes

What influenced you to play basketball? My dad, who was also a very good player and my first coach

What is your favorite aspect of playing basketball? Five individuals becoming one TEAM

What is your motivation to play? The love, and excitement of winning

What are your habits before a game? I eat the same meal, make sure I call my wife, tie my ring in my shoelaces

What is your favorite hobby? Relaxing after a hard practice

Do play other sports competitively, which sports? Is power napping a sport? haha

What is your favorite food to eat before and after games? Pancakes

What is your favorite pre-game music? I have a gameday mix in my iPOD with hard and fast beats. Mostly rap

Do you have any religious background and basketball? No

How often do you workout? Everyday except the day after a game

Do you have a partner or on your own? My team

Have you gotten seriously injured? Broke my leg in a game once

What are your strong points in basketball? My ability to play more than one position

Do you consider yourself healthy and why? Yes, because I am at an age where most people aren’t playing because of their health

Your favorite basketball gear brand? Anything Nike or by Jordan

What size shoe do you wear? 13 normally but 14 in ball shoes (extra socks)

Do you have many friends who don’t play basketball? Yes

What is life outside of basketball for you? It is my place to be normal

Do you get a lot of attention because you play basketball? Yes

What are your plans after your basketball career is over? Coaching

Is basketball your life? No, my family is, but it is and will always be a big factor in my daily life

Where has basketball taken you? To more places than I could have ever imagined.

Have you traveled a lot through basketball? If so, where have you been and which are your favorite places? Yes, and I have lived 12 years in Europe because of basketball so I have seen pretty much all of Europe

Do you have children? Yes, two of them

Have you made mistakes in your life that has affected your career? If you would like to go into detail please explain. No not really. I think I have been very lucky in my career and made good choices for ME. I don’t regret anything I have ever decided to do because I have had a great life because of basketball

What is your basketball standing now? Do you play -- High school, college, professional, semi pro or retired? I am playing professionally in Germany

What are your personal goals as a player? My goal is to always be a leader for my team

What are your basketball dreams? To be remembered as a good player that always led and never followed

Are you happy with your basketball game? Yes

Have you received many accolades and honors through basketball? Yes, but individule awards don’t interest me. I am more proud of the championships along the way.
